Acrylic/ mixed media on handmade, cradled wood panel.
Finished with a layer of gloss gel medium for high shine
There’s a pause here — a moment held tight in the chest. Bright red cuts through pale greens and soft blues, like a warning or a heartbeat spiking. Behind it, faint grids and layered textures flicker like thoughts barely contained. This small piece captures the quiet panic and stillness before release.
